Hi Jim, It was back in 2006 so it may not work anymore as it did. I hope to get a Mac soon and build native Mac OS X packages of both Grig and Gpredict. Alex
Enric, If you have purchased Grig from eBay you have to contact the seller for user support. I can only support releases that I make available for free via my website. I don’t know what these people are selling but I’m sure it is scam! Sorry… 73, OZ9AEC
Good idea! I’ll will take a look at including fldigi since it seems to be better maintained. Gmfsk hasn’t really been updated for years 🙁
Thanks for the tip. I have added YFKLog to the list. I am still trying to get the Xandros development environment up and running.
Indeed, you are correct. I have removed the windows version and I have suspended any attempts to make new windows builds. It has taken me considerable time to succeed with a windows build and I do not even need it for myself. Heck, I want to make software for Linux! What pissed me off big time was the idiot who sold links to my own download page! Its just not worth it.
Yes, Windows support is temporarily suspended due to various reasons (ebay fraud, bad performance, etc). If you really want a copy I can send you a link by direct email but there is no tech support whatsoever at the moment. I expect to resume windows support when I release version 1.0.
My radial for 40m was around 1/4 wavelength, i.e. 10m. I found that whether the radial goes as a straight line or is in a bundle makes less difference while you are receiving. I didn’t really do any transmissions with the ATX. Alex
Thanks for the report. Indeed, the major problem is in the long start-up delay. I have spent quite some time in nailing down the source of the problem, and found out that it is in the under underlying libraries 🙁
I have stopped producing the windows executables for now. It was working but really not very well. I will need somebody else to test and improve the windows build.
