I’m continuing with the connectors switches and the instruments. I don’t quite understand why the assembly manual wants me to use the bottom row on the power switch instead of the top row. The switch is already mounted on the cabinet and thus the bottom row is much more difficult to access than the top row. I just ignore this step and use the top row.
Step 2.22 concerning the supplied cable ties to dress up the various wires is not really necessary to me, so I’ll just skip this step, too.
I also have a small addition to step 2.23 where one is supposed to mount the solder lugs on the terminal posts of the instrument: Do it before installing the instrument in the cabinet. Once the instrument is installed, it is very difficult to access the screws on the terminal posts properly.
Besides these minor issues, everything went fine and I have now a finished QRP wattmeter ready for alignment.
